| Bøyabreen (glacier) | Outlet glacier from the Jostedalsbreen. The ice in the icefall is moving down the mountain side with a speed of 2 m a day. Easy access with car/bus, only 10 km away from Mundal. |

| Fjærland church | The church was built in 1861 and refurbished in 1931. In June - August the church is open to the public between 10 and 18. |

| Flatbreen (glacier) and the cabin Flatbrehytta | Flatbreen is part of the large glacier Jostedalsbreen, approx. 1000 m a.s.l. Close to the glacier you find the self service cabin Flatbrehytta with 18 beds. From Øygarden, in the valley Supphelledalen, there is a path going up to the cabin. It is a 2 - 3 hours hike one way, depending on how fit you are. |

| Jostedalsbreen National Park | The National Park has great variations in vegetation. The main reason for establishing the park was to secure an unspoilt glacial area. The glacier is the largest glacier on mainland Europe, approx. 80 km long. Own web site |

| Norweian Glacier Museum | The museum is a hands-on museum giving you knowledge about ice, snow, landscape and climate in a new and exciting way. There you can, among other things, do your own experiments with 1000 year old ice from the glacier and watch a stunning panorama film from the glacier Jostedalsbreen. The museum was opened bt H.M. | Supphellebreen (glacier) | This is the lowest lying glacier in Southern Norway, only 60 m a.s.l. The glacier is kept alive by ice avalanches from Flatbreen, some 800 m higher. Yearly so much ice is coming down to the valley floor that if we put the ice on a football ground it will be a layer of ice 230 m thick. Easy access by car/bus, approx. 10 km from Mundal. |

| The Fjærlandsfjord | The Fjærlandsfjord is a 30 km branch of the Sognefjord. The voyage from Vangsnes, Hella and Balestrand to Fjærland is reckoned as one of the most beautiful in Norway. |
