Bøyadalen Valley HIKE

Bøyadalen Valley hike goes close, but in safe distance from the icefall of Bøyabreen Glacier. This is an easy and family friendly hike in spectacular surroundings.

Price 200,- NOK

(minimum 5 people or minimum price 1000,-

The hike starts from the parking lot close to the glacier lake at 150 m.a.s.l.  We walk slowly through a lush forrest, before we enter a moraine ridge made by the glacier in "The Little Ice Age" about 250 years ago. The track we walk is good, but sometimes narrow and a little bit steep. We reach the top of the ridge at 400 m.a.s.l. where we enjoy the view towards the glacier in the mountain side and the lake in the valley below. We return the same way we walked up.
